After hours

A CBRE day involves work, rest and play! We want you to enjoy coming to work, so fun is important to us. You’ll find us a friendly, open and lively bunch. We organise regular social events on a team, department and company-wide basis.

Sports Day

Our annual London Summer sports day, which took place at the Bank of England Sports Ground with 650 attendees from our St Martin’s Court and Henrietta House offices, was a great success. A wide range of sports were played including cricket, tag rugby, tennis, basketball, netball, croquet, boules, a new addition of school sports and the much enjoyed inter-departmental tug of war! As always the afternoon tea and BBQ refreshments went down well and people were seen riding the dodgems late on into the evening.

Property Bike Ride

Our last Property Bike Ride raised over £40k for our UK Charity Partner, Shelter. Dubbed a huge success, over 600 industry players joined us on the Surrey Hills.

Woman's Network Annual Conference

The Women’s Network held their annual conference in June at Henrietta House. This year's theme was The Career Conundrum, where the focus was on maximising your potential in your career and future strategies for success.

CBRE continues to champion inclusion to promote a working environment that can allow every individual to perform to their highest potential. The daily events will provide an opportunity for provocative discussion regarding the positive impact that having diversity as a core business value can have within the company and throughout the industry.

David Hitchcock, Executive Director and Head of Building Consultancy at CBRE and Chair of CBRE’s Diversity Steering Group: "Last year we launched our first ever Diversity Week, which received positive feedback across the board. We now look forward to holding this event again as a further opportunity to open up our workplace and identify future actions that will aid us in our mission to ingrain an inclusive atmosphere into every aspect of our business.

"We recognize that to build a productive work environment, it must first be one where every employee feels comfortable and accepted. We hope this year’s Diversity Week will be another informative and stimulating experience as we continue to celebrate our differences.”
